First Time To Suzhou

One year ago today I arrived in China for the very first time. I never shared pictures from that trip (not counting the apartment hunting pictures). The anniversary of the trip seemed like as good a time as any.

On our first trip to Suzhou we drove around to see where we would be able to purchase the essentials (food/diapers/etc.).  We also looked for an apartment, J spent a day at his new office, a little bit of Suzhou sightseeing and we had about a day in Shanghai. We were here for a week and it just flew by in an overwhelming blur!

Practicing feeding himself with a spoon...it's a work in a progress. This was at the beginning of the meal, it ended with a bath to get the oatmeal out of his hair.

Last week we rode the metro to the other side of the lake and then walked back (two miles). I took this picture of Baby O with the "pants" building.
